Points & Prizes for FC Members!

I am very happy (and excited!) to announce that FamilyCorner (and MomsMenu) have partnered up with our good friends at SheKnows and have joined forces in the Points and Prizes program. So what does that mean for you??

I receive many different products from publishers, PR companies and manufacturers wanting to promote their newest items. My house sometimes gets overrun with boxes of things that I simply can't use all by myself. So I wanted to share that advantage with my FC family.

I want these items to go to those who can really use and enjoy them. That's where Points and Prizes comes in...

Points and Prizes is a program designed to allow you to accumulate points that can then be redeemed for free products! And yes, that includes shipping! All you have to do is register on the Points and Prizes website and then you can collect points from MANY different sources:

- prize codes are included in participating site newsletters
- on participating site websites
- by entering contests
- referring friends to the site
- posting on the boards

Participating sites are listed on the Points and Prizes website, on the right side bar. There are many different ways to get points, you just have to keep your eyes open! At the end of this message there is a point code to enter that will get you started with 200 points in your free account!

Now remember, there's no hitches, we just have extra things to give away and we also want to help visitors get to know our websites, newsletters, enter contests, and more. So it's a win-win for all involved.

This sounds great. I just signed up, then spent some time visiting some of the sponsor sites, and found 4 different point words. I already have 700 points! It's a fun way to earn something while doing what I would have done, anyway.

Don't forget to watch FamilyCorner's newsletters as well, I have issued two point words in Contest Corner and Making Time For Family and there will be one in Frugality Corner tomorrow. Also, if you haven't already visited FamilyCorner's home page (not the forums homepage, the website home page!) there's a code there too ;-)

I don't mind giving a few hints in the beginning, I hope everyone enjoys it. It's lots of fun and doesn't cost a dime!

are you going to be recieving lots of emails?
can you do the same thing but use a different email address, and still be able to earn those points.

I guess I'm just dense for it still confusing to me, and now sure how or why..

You are not dense, and yes you can use a different email address if you like

Points and Prizes does not share your information with anyone, not even sponsors. You may receive an occassional email from Points and Prizes, but that would just be an announcement, or possibly a new way to earn points, etc.

As far as how to earn them, just sign up and find codes within the sponsor site newsletters, websites, referring a friend, entering contests etc.

LOL Well instead of repeating everything on this thread, the first step is to go to the Points and Prizes website. Then read the "about" page. That should explain the program pretty well. Let me know if you still have questions after going through that.

Amanda I sent an email to Prizes and Points feedback, you may be able to help. I signed up yesterday but never received a confirmation e-mail. I tried to sign up again but it won't let me.

I have the same problem as Coll does.
I even try to sign up with the user name I used with my password I gave myself but it wouldn't let me in.
