My name is Cornea Mihai and I am from Romania. I am currently working on a coloring website witch I want to expend even further in the future.
I know that there are a lot of websites offering this on the internet but none of them offer an option to upload, store and share your colored pages. So you can share them online with friends or grandparents.
I am only 21 years old and I don't have childrens. Your advices can be helpful and constructive.

If you will search the internet for the name of my site you will see that this is the only place I've posted it hoping for some help.
I checked out your site, and the picutres are really fun. I wonder if you have copyright for them though? It is a good idea to be able to download and save them. Good luck to you.
missibob has a good point. I just briefly looked but I know that Disney and Nickelodeon do not allow the use of their characters, so if you have any of those you could end up with a letter or email from their legal department. It's best practice to gain permission from any company whose images you want to use. Unfortunately, most places will not grant permission. I believe that many of the coloring page sites on the internet use images without permission, so that's a risk they take I guess.

The pictures I have are pictures that can be found on multiple coloring websites so I don't tink there is a problem. If someone who owns their copyright will ask me to remove them I will remove them imediatly.
I don't want to focus the website on offering pictures to print and color. My ideea was to create a place where they will also have the obtion to upload their colored pages and share them with other friends or grandparents. This is what the website will bring new beside what the other websites offer.
What do you tink about that idea? Also, because moust of the website is still underconstruction any idea will be usefull.
It's not the idea that's bad, the idea itself is good. However, having visitors upload scanned images from coloring books or pages they have saved elsewhere is still copyright infringement. Copying from other websites is copyright infringement. Your best bet is to come up with your own images either by drawing them yourself or by paying an artist to create them for you. I'm afraid that you are opening yourself up to legal problems. Take it from someone who has grown a website from nothing into something, I know what I am talking about. I don't mean to discourage you, only warn you.
I like the concept but again please listen to Amanda, she has done alot to this website and only thinking of the best interest of you.
I think kids that can color a picture and then send it to thier grandparents by internet could be very cool..
