Coll, I have all those ornaments too - the ones my dks made when they were in kindergarten and the younger grades. I still put them on the tree much to my children's embarrassment.
I have several favorites - all the ornaments my grandmother made for us (she passed away about 10 years ago so they are treasured), a glass reindeer oranment my dh gave me our first Christmas together and of course all the ornaments my dks have made over the years and all the "world's best babysitter" ornaments given to my by my dc families.
Seeing last year's post from Margaret made me cry. I hope she is having a wonderful Christmas season in heaven. I still remember her in my prayers every day.

I think of Margaret every Sunday when her team is playing football. I am sure that she is smiling down upon us right now.
I love all of the ornaments that Andy has made for us in school. I have a special bulb from my MIL that says "Merry Christmas from Chittenango NY" on it. Since they are no longer with us, I cherish this ornament.
I also have several snowmen ornaments that I love!

I still use all the ones my dk and dgd made for me. The year dd#2 was 1 I decided to make ornies so she could touch them. So I bought felt and made enough to cover the bottom of our tree. We only put light on the top and middle of the tree so my 1year old and my 2 1/1 year old could enjoy them. After christmas that year I bought wooden ones to paint and more felt and I also bought a plastic Nativity scene. To this day we put out the Nativity scene low enough to touch and even play with. My dgd has even put on plays with our telling the story of Jesus birth. All ornies on the tree are gifts or homemade

The first year I had the expensive Nativity, Miriam took a kleenex and wrapped baby Jesus in it and said it was to keep him warm. She was 2 at the time.

I have the sled that Margaret gave to me last yr too, when I hung in on the tree I just sat and cried. The oldest gd knew why and just said" this one was from your friend that passed away, now what was her name?"
I also have one that belongs to my daughter that I like alot too, it a Tx boot.
It one of the only ornies that is left after our house was broken into at one time and many of my kids ornies were stolen. All of my son's ories were.
To pick my favorite is very hard to do, as I love them all.
taking each one out each yr brings back lots of good memories and friendship bonds.

When I was little, my mom and dad had two wooden reindeer ornaments. One was red with white spots, the other was the opposite: white with red spots. I loved them so much, I kept them after it was time to take down the tree and put the ornaments away.
Unfortunately, I don't know where they are now! I'm so sad thinking about it.
