Donna I am not baking quite as much this year.....trying to keep the holidays low key this year. I will make my tourtierre for Christmas eve. I have already made a pumpkin pie, apple pie and pecan cream cheese pie. I will make a lemon merangue at christmas. I have gumdrop loaf made and pumpkin loaf. I will make cranberry chip cookies(mikes fav), shortbread, sugar cookies, gingerbread, candy cane cookies, chocolate shortbread triangles, chocolate marshmallow log and i think that will be it this year....might make some fudge and peanut brittle for the teachers. For breakfast I will make Quiche Lorraine and sticky buns.
Donna what are you making?
Hugs debbie

May The Spirit Of Christmas knock at your heart And having gained entry, may it never depart.
Because we are not big fruit cake eaters we have gumdrop cake instead. A basic loaf with baking gumdrops added.
Here is the recipe
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 cup flour
1/2 cup shortening
2/3 cup milk
3 tsp baking powder
1 pkg baking gumdrops(no black)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
Combine and place in a long greased and floured loaf pan
Bake at 350 till done
Sharon could you share the recipe for fudge nuggets and Mexican wedding cookies!
Hugs debbie
