I used to make Martha Washington Candy every year. It was a tradition. The last time I made it, dh had to stir it up. Have not made it the last couple of years. Ds would love it if I did. He looked for that every year.
I make homemade carmel corn; chocolate covered pretzels; mashed potato candy
chocolate chip; chocolate drop with icing; peanut butter; orange; pumpkin and sugar cookies as well as cinnamon cut out cookies and a birthday cake for Jesus

I bought my ingredients today so that I can make my white christmas on the weekend, dh will take it to work to share with the guys, the week after I make them chocolates and biscuits/cookies the last week before 2 weeks off are the xmas cakes and cards.
250g copha (solidified coconut oil)
2 cups Rice Bubbles
1 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup icing sugar, sifted
1 cup milk powder
¾ cup sultanas
1/2 cup sultanas or raisins
METHOD
Lightly grease a 20 x 30cm slice pan. Line base and sides with baking paper.
Place copha in a small pan on low heat. Cook, stirring, for 4-5 minutes until melted. Cool slightly.
Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add copha and mix well. Press mixture firmly into pan.
Chill until set. Serve cut into small squares. Store White Christmas in an airtight container in the fridge.
One thing we do at Xmas is to do a goodie exchange. There is 6 of us and we each bake 6 dozen of something ie short bread . butter tarts ,brownies .date squares. etc this gives us a variety of 6 different goodies .but our shopping list only has to include the items for 1 goodie saves time as well as money.
