Let's get a list of Christmas CD's going!

I love all of the old favorites but I also love to hear new and fun Christmas songs.

List the titles of your CD's and tell us a little bit about it and what you think about it (is it your favorite, you only play it when the kids beg you, etc.).

Don't forget to check out your library for a great variety of Christmas music!

The Way In A Manger (A Country Christmas) - Some of my favorite songs on here are Mary Did you Know by Billy Dean, It Wasn't His Child by Skip Ewing, What Made The Baby Cry by Toby Keith, Nothing But A Child by Kathy Mattea & Strange Way To Save The World by B.J. Thomas

Christmas at Home (Walt Disney) - A cute kids one.

A Child's Christmas - It has different songs on it that are fun. We're Going To Get Our Christmas Tree, Reindeer On My Roof, How Many Cookies Can Santa Claus Eat?, The Marvelous Toy, The Children of Bethlehem, I Hope Daddy Likes This Tie - just to name a few.

I got one a couple of years ago called I'ts Christmas Time, by a goup of Various Christian Arts that go by the title of City on a Hill. It is sooo good; I listen to it all year long. My favorite is Child of Love, very touching; I cry every time I hear it. Another favorite is Manger Throne.

Now, my Mother in Law has an old tape with a song on it called "I want a Hippopotumus for Christmas." I wish I could find it on a current cd. It is cute & funny, but I don't really know it well. I think I'll go do an internet search.

Hee hee

My favorite Christmas CD's

Mannheim Steamroller, I have four of their CD's
Trans Siberian Orchestra, have one but would love to find more.

All time favorite secular christmas song would be a toss up between "The Marvelous Toy", "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" and "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas"

Favorite christmas carol would be "O Little Town Of Bethlehem"

I love Christmas music and start listening to a station that only plays Christmas music starting Thanksgiving.

I have lots of Christmas cds. I just bought the Il Divo one last week. I like Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Charlotte Church, Vince Gill among many others. (Those just happen to be the ones in the cd player now).

My favorite song would be Greensleeves (What Child is This), followed by Silent Night and Ave Maria.

Phyllsplace - The Way in a Manger sounds like a good one, I will have to look for it.
