Hi! And thanks for the welcome! I've been a member for quite a while, just rarely get time to get on the boards.
Ok, I'm pretty sure this is gonna be one of those slapping myself on the forehead moments, but.... what's WFD?
Thanks for posting that list of 101, I used to have it, but lost everything in a recent computer crash...
One thing to remember about chocolate, or fruit, too... be aware of the temperature where the stockings are hung! I live in Texas, and one year the kids left their stuff in the stockings, and between the Texas heat & cooking (our A/C was out) they ended up with a blob in the bottom of their stockings... After that we made sure to make 'em empty them out!
Pam

I found the coolest things for Stocking stuffers this year. They're called Sock Popits and they're these little stuffed animals that have snaps on them and they snap to socks or hair bands. My kids fell in love with them and I even had a couple pre-teens and teenagers ask where we got them cause they're so cute!

I found a website... www.sockpopits.com

They're adorable!

Do you ever like to put really expensive things in a stocking - like an iPod or jewelry, just to mix it up?

Yes, and it is nice. I keep looking for a couple sapphires, Santa take a hint! But still the dds also want those little things like lip balms, candy, gift certificates...maybe this year we'll have them do the stocking stuffers.

I put candy, gum, new toothbrush, matchbox cars, lipgloss, chapstick, pretty girly xmas socks, playing cards, trial size lotion, deoderant, and a full size of my dh and my older ds's favorite cologne. My ds that is 11 gets little boy stuff. My dd gets bath stuff and cute hair acceriories. Whatever else I find when I'm out.
