DH & I have given up trying to buy each other Christmas gifts. We just buy something for the house as our gift to each other.

But I do have one thing in mind for him. I've scanned pics of him, his dad, his grandpa and his great-grandpa. I'm converting them all to black & white and arranging them on an 8x10 sheet (using Print Shop). I added a few borders & shadows. It's turning out pretty nice on the screen. I have the 4 generations cascading down the page. If the printout is good, I'll frame it for him.

I'm buying my dh a guitar for Christmas. He has always wanted one but will not spend the money on himself to get one. My ds#1 is buying the case and DD is buying a couple of books and DS #2 is getting him a gift card to the music store so he can get some other books or sheet music or picks or something. Not sure yet but I think I will have him open DS#2 gift first then DD then DS#1 then the guitar.

I bought Mark some books, gardening stuff, cologne and had my friend take some pics of me and I framed them (It's the one Deb printed of me in the red sweater!) We give each other a big stocking filled with lots of little things like candy, pens, candles, post it's, magnets...etc...etc...!!

hugs,train

My husband is a CCR fan so I ordered their best songs in a remastered CD set. I also got Hover Pucks for him, my 2 sons, and my grandson to play with on Christmas day. The adult boys in our family have never outgrown getting a toy for Christmas. lol

I bought my hover pucks at http://www.sharperimage.com

There are 2 types I got the ones on sale from the outlet store link.

The discription on the outlet page under toys:
Hover Puck™ glides, scoots, zooms, bounces and zips on a cushion of air! Original Price: $39.95
Now Only: $29.95

On the home page under toys:
Hover Puck with Lights & Sounds New!
Hover Puck™ glides, zooms and caroms on a cushion of air — with flashing lights and sound effects! $39.95

Every Christmas I look for something out of the ordinary, usually from a dollar store or a street fair but this time my grandson was the one who found the Christmas toy. A bit expensive but I had 2 $80 gift cirtificates from my Discover Card cash back account and they looked like sooo much fun!
