Gifts in a Jar OR Mug

Have any recipes for food gifts you pack into a jar or mug? They make really nice gifts and are inexpensive too! Here is one for:
HOT COCOA MIX

6 1/2 cups powdered milk
1 pkg, (5 oz) non instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 cup powdered nondairy creamer
1 cup powdered chocolate drink mix
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Divide the mixture between two 1 quart jars. Seal and decorate the jar or tie a piece of holiday material around the lid. These can be stored in a dey area for up to 3 months. Attach a tag with these directions: Hot Cocoa: Dissolve 1/3 cup cocoa mix in 1 cup boiling water.

Cranberry - Bran Muffins
Into a 1 quart jar layer the following (each layer listed below)

Mix these together in a bowl to make the first layer:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp apple pie spice OR cinnamon
***************************
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
***************************
1 cup whole bran cereal (not flakes)
***************************
1/3 cup dried cranberries
***************************
1/3 cup sliced almonds OR walnuts
***************************
Combine in a small bag:
1/3 cup packed brown sugar, 1/4 cup all purpose flour and 1/4 tsp apple pie spice

As you layer each layer tap the jar lightly to settle each layer before adding the next layer. For the bagged layer use a small bag OR a square of palstic wrap closed with a twist tie. Attach the directions for how to use the mox to the jar with a ribbon. You might want to add a "best buy" date to the jar. It will keep about 1 month at room temperature.

DIRECTIONS TO ATTACH:

Remove the bag of streusel topping. Shake remaining ingredients in the jar to mix., Line tweleve 2 1/2" muffin cups with paper baking cups or grease. Combine 1 lightly beaten egg, 1 cup milk and 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Stir in the jar contents till just combined. Spoon batter into muffin cups about 2/3 full.
STREUSEL TOPPING:
In a small bowl cut 2 tbsp butter into streusel topping and mix till coarse crumb looking. Sprinkle over batter in cups. Bake at 400 degree oven 15 to 18 minutes or till done., Serve warm. Makes 12 muffins
