I did the bulk of my holiday shopping online and had the items shipped directly to them!

Since my sis is now coming here now that Joe passed, I did run out before work and dropped another $300 smackers. The holiday hours are such a help. (poor employees of these stores. yucky).

I'm done, with the exception of the baking!

Merry Merry everyone!

Kudos to you JoleBlond!!! Let's put CHRIST back into CHRISTmas!!! We have a large family, also . . . 9 children (though the world considers them adults), 7 of which are married with children of their own (24 grandkids for us) , and 6 great-grandkids with one more coming. Since I'm the only one working, we've scaled back. I try to make things, since our finances are limited. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

I cut down our gift list too. I gave money to ds and his wife before we moved. I sent Christmas cards to the inlaws and to my dad. For our family we bought with saved money, a Wii. With moving and buying a house that is enough! We haven't bought for the extended family for years. I miss making gifts but since the were not apprenticed and we couldn't afford gifts we stopped. I doubt we recieved anything from our parents either. If FIL is angry about something then you dont get a gift. LOL I think moving took care of that! My father can't afford gifts. Backing out of this has been a huge weight off my shoulders.
