I saw an ad for a cool thing the other day--my Big DS wants one...it is an instant charger for things like ipods. It's basically a rechargeable battery with a USB port in it. You plug in the USB cord and it will charge your device 2 times before you need to recharge the charger. Duracell makes them for about $20.

It sounds unexciting but as ds2 was out of work for a couple of months he will be getting some cash for his birthday in Oct to catch up on some of his bills but for Christmas we will be getting him something he really wants which is an iTunes card, new mats for his car and a petrol/gas voucher for his car, he likes those smelly things that hang in your car (if anyone asks what he wants these are the hints) movie tickets (boys loved that last year when some one here suggested it.)
Maybe I should hire for him some one to clean his room LOL

With not much money this year I'm going to be making everything. I'm making dd dish cloths and towels, mom a blanket , dgd (if she is still with us) a knitted hello kitty, she loves this cat even at 15. Dh , Im not sure but, maybe hunting clothes in bright orange and camo.

Well it would now seem that ds2 will be starting to have a weekly shave of his 'fluff' LOL
So I may just see how much electric shavers are (ds1 uses blades and makes a heck of a mess) maybe if I buy 2 they will be cheaper. That will be their 1 big gift and I'll find something smaller to go with it

Kathy, I know what you mean about dss making a mess when shaving! LOL

I am struggling to figure out what to get ds1 (who will be 20 this Dec.) for his birthday this year. He already has an mp3 player and other electronic gadgets. He wants cd's and dvd's but that isn't very imaginative. he is also picky about clothes. This may be a gift card occasion.

Not found any cheaper electric or rechargeable shavers yet maybe a special when time gets nearer. It will be 1 shaver per week for ds2 at the moment, ds1 says he likes his mess (figures, typical male) and will stay with a blade.
I have found Mr Men summer shortie jammas for ds2 marked down so he's getting 2 pairs jamma shorts not sure what else to get ds1 besides the iTunes cards, movie tickets?
