Do you use the same decorating theme each year or do you change it up?
I can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner already!
When you decorate, do you use the same theme and decorations each year or do you change them?
I would really like to add snowmen and snowflakes to my decorations this year. I don't have a "theme" per say... I guess I would call it an "accumulated array of decorations" theme. ROFL!!
What do you do?

Tami we have no theme..I add whatever my MIL adds to our decorations each year and put it out. I have a beautiful cherished teddies train track and accessories we put out....lots of old world santas. My tree is white lights and all the decorations are ones we have made, the kids made or were given or ones that were my hubby's and mine as kids.....I will pass them on to each of my kids families one day...then maybe I will go with a theme but for now it is just the spirit of Chrisatmas and lots of family love
hugs debbie

I have always decorated with a different theme / style for all of the Holiday's. Last year we had a cat tree, the year before that was a game tree, and so forth. Most of my redesigning Holiday decor comes from the inability to redesign where the furniture is in our house. Either the furniture wont fit any other way in a room, or its to heavy for me

One year I decorated the tree in a Bear Theme...including a light up bear village I made...another year we did a Disney theme with all disney ornaments...

This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.
Members will be allowed to submit one story pertaining to a Halloween story and one story pertaining to an autumn story. Please click here to enter!
