Patti, I am hoping to finish decorating the tree today and get out the rest of my house decorations. With the kitten running about it is going to be an interesting Christmas. He thinks the tree is his personal hiding/climbing place. think any breakable ornament will be near the top!

I never had to worry about the cats in any of my trees. At one time I had 3 cats. NOW they did like to lay among the presents but they never tried to climb them. But with 6 month old Koda (pug) here not sure what he will do once presents are under it. There is a basket under there now with food stuff too and SO FAR he nor Panda (4 yr old female Pug) have bothered it. It is one of those shrink wrapped baskets Stacie made this one up with things she figured I would like

I finally finished decorating the tree and the house! The kitten hasn't been too bad, just batted at a few ornaments (unbreakables). But when he gets in trouble he runs and hides under the tree in the back which is funny. My other 3 cats could care less about the tree as long as they get their Christmas goodies on Christmas morning.

Tree is finished!! The grandkids did a really good job....It looks so pretty.......Patti, my son has a pug, and Oliver will eat anything in sight. The 3 boys have to keep all their small toys up so he can't get them. If food is left on the table he'll jump up and eat it.....Once when my DIL took the boys to the bus he jumped up on the kitchen table and ate the homemade cake that was left their to cool. He is an adorable dog and spoiled too......lol

Our tree has been up for about a week now. My 4 yr. old cat, Steeler, thinks he's a present under the tree. From sun up to sun down you can find him sleeping on the tree skirt right up against the middle of the tree. My other cat, Patches, thinks that the bulb ornaments hanging on the bottom of the tree are batting toys for her. Other than Steeler trying to climb up the middle of the tree, they've been really good so far this year.
