Does anyone have their Christmas tree up yet? I don't so does that mean I am running behind?

Hugs, Janet

Janet, we won't have ours up until Dec. 10 at the earliest!

DH put up the outside lights yesterday only because the weather was perfect for that, and next weekend he's going camping with the Boy Scouts. Otherwise, there's no decorating going on here yet and there won't be until Sunday.

Theresa, Wow!! Congrats on getting your tree up...I am in the mood to get mine up too for some reason..lol Your tree sounds cute, if you can snap a picture of it, please share it.

I love snowmen!

Barbszy, I am wondering about putting our lights up too..I have the icicle kind and love them..it really lights up the yard, and the power company loves it too..lol Maybe I will only do the front of the house....then I have a huge Snoopy to put on the roof.lol
So glad my hubby can still do this work..he is such a blessing!

Hugs, Janet

We are emptying the boxes and making a huge mess I might add so that we can sort out the tree and the advent calendar, as the calendar is one I made and gets packed away each year.

We don't have our tree up yet ~ maybe this weekend?
Our tree is a mix of everything that has come over the years. Each year we buy an ornament for the kids, and eventually, that is what they will take with them to their own places! This year they are beautiful clear glass with a light inside.

Meg,we do the same thing here..and it is fun shopping for ornaments each year..

A good friend sent me an ornament that you plug into your twinkle lights..and it is a lighthouse that blinks..nice and slow..so cool! It was a Hallmark one from years ago!

Not sure when we will get our tree up..I moved my sewing machine and table out of the "tree area"...and now I want to clean some before I drag out more stuff. Wax the floors and so on..also dust things! yikes!!

I wanted to buy a slim tree this year and I guess I am the only one that likes them..so I was out voted! lol

Hugs, janet
