I don't know just yet what I want to do. I have a tote full of crafts of all kinds that need to be done. Lots of christmas wood ortments to paint, candle making kit, soap kit and etc. I thought It be a fun thing to do with Kellie. And if we do good give as gifts.

Lovely writing paper; that is a great gift! I love to get a "real" letter once in awhile!

Last year I had to come up with a few last minute gift ideas, so I made a few of the Lighted Potpourri Jars, and they were so well received, I plan on making some this year too, also a few of the fleece blankets, and scarfs, Connie I havent seen the braided ones yet will have to look for them. here is a link for the Potpourri lighted jars if anyone is interested.

Also here is a link for some really cute "purse patterns" easy too!!

There are some great ideas for homemade gifts here.

I plan to make soap, wash cloths, dish towels, embroider a pair of pillow cases, and make some Christmas ornaments. I already have most of the supplies, just need the motivation to get started.

Thanks Bilby. We are going into the fall season here, so the cooler weather should help motivate me too.

Monogrammed papers, a couple of ways you can do this, on the computer, doing this way I use coloured printer paper and divide the page in 2 and if you're able to add a pic (eg a coloured circle or square or small pic you've collected from google images) Put in your letter "L" (or Lauri) into the circle or with the pic, when printed cut paper in half evenly and stack making sure you have at least 1 envelope to 2 pieces of paper ...... OR
You can get an alphabet stamp set and stamp pad and stamp the "L" in the corner or your piece of paper (can get stamp circles, squares, flowers etc as well if you wish)
Can use a plain sticker shape and write a fancy initial in a permanant marker, watch for smudges till dry.
Can use a rule and coloured fine permanent pen to border off the top and bottom.
Envelopes can be monogrammed in this way as well.
There are other ways only limited by your imagination.

Pretend they are cards just simpler LOL
Plauing around with paper is fun!
