Lots of trees at the camp we go to - they can collect the twigs, glue gun them together and paint with gold or silver spray paint.

What is everyone else working on?

I love the idea of twig stars! I would love to see some pics of them when you've finished some of them. That's a great project that's simple enough for young kids to help with and they don't cost a lot to make.

I haven't even been able to think of anything other than having no AC, downed phone lines and flat tires for the last few days. I would love to move on to thinking of Christmas.

I was thinking along the lines of making some kind of Santa out of paint stir sticks, but we'll see. I'll need to start soon, cuz once the new baby comes, i'll be too busy with three little boys under 5 every day. I think I'm crazy.

I'm working on the no sew fleece blankets and some scarves. Also making dishcloths.
I have more ideas than I have time.

Today I'm making marionberry jam. I think I'm the only one in the family now that does any canning so they all appreciate the home made goods.

Thanks so much for answering my question. I am going to Google as well. I just wondered whether or not there was any piecing to do, or if you just buy 54" material. Thanks again, I'm off to Google.
