Sorry guys, I got side tracked. Here's the recipe:

1 18 1/2 oz. box of chocolate cake mix.
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 14 oz. can condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
dash of salt

Preheat oven to 350* beat cake mix, oil and egg until crumbly. Set aside 1 cup of the crumb mixture, Firmly press rest of crumb mixture on bottom of greased 13x9 pan.

In a sauce pan, melt chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and salt. Pour over crust. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture evenly over top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, til edges are firm.
Cool. Can drizzle or pipe frosting on top, or not.

Can also add 1 cup of chopped nuts.
Could add 1 cup miniature marshmallows.

I used store brand everything, no nuts or marshmallow and it was great.

I need some ideas for my DFIL age 70.

We lost our DMIL in July and they played Mr & Mrs Clause every year for the last 14 years in our city parade, at schools, nursing homes, clubs, etc... and we always got them Santa related gifts.

I don't want to upset my DFIL by reminding him of Christmas' past with DMIL since this will be his first without her and I need to find something to give him for Christmas!

The only other things I know he's in to is playing the sax and drinking Corona!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
