If anyone has thrown a Barney Birthday for a toddler please help me with any ideas you may have had. I am in deseparte need. If you know of any websites with great graphics that would help too. Thanks.
My son had Barney for his 3rd Birthday. I decorated with purple and green streamers and balloons. Had a Barney decorated cake that was purchased from a local bakery. I usually do an internet search for decorations for all b-day...this way they are free. I am including a site for pbs kids that you may find Barney pictures, coloring pages or games for ideas. Hope this helps. To save money I usually buy regular colored paper plates and cups and purchase the napkins with Barney for example. This saves a lot as the plates with the characters on them are expensive.

I have a Barney/Baby Bop/PJ graphic I scanned in from a Barney paper back book last year to make a T-shirt iron-on for my nephew if you would like it. It's got balloons in the background (they're having a party)...you might could use it to make invitations.
Have you done a "search" on the 'net for anything. If you type in "Barney" & "toddler party", you might find things that others have come up with...I always try to include a second & third word on my searches to direct them more to what I am looking for.
Send me a private message with your email addy if you want me to send the .JPG file.

If your party hasn't taken place yet, what about making a Barney bag to bring out a simple craft for the kids(Don't forget to sing "I've been looking in my Barney bag...). You could make tamborines with paper plates and few ribbons for decor, markers to draw on the plates and beans to fill, staple shut and they get their party noise makers!
As a time filler at the end waiting for parents to pick up kids you could just throw in a barney movie.
Don't forget to do lots of singing since that is one thing Barney is known by for kids. I love Barney, I think he is very educational. It's to bad peer pressure changes our childrens minds as they get older. My son, 7, now says thats a baby show but when he thinks no one is watching, you can tell he enjoys watching it.
