German Shepherd's pie Serves 9
preheat oven to 350' Grease a 9x9x2" baking dish / pam ( use Pam spray)
Use leftover mashed potatoes enough to equal 3 cups or make up instant mashed potatos to equal 6 servings. Dh likes Hungry Jack brnd mashd potatoes
1 can saurkraut
2 cans good quailty corned beef (store brands usually have too much fat)
1 1/2 to 2 cups shredded swiss cheese (can use sliced but cover meat with two layers)
In a lg bowl mix the mashed potatoes and saurkraut (do not drain). spread 1/2 potatoes in bottom and up sides of baking dish. evenly add the corned beef (I warm mine so it's easier to spread and mash it up too). Cover meat with swiss cheese generiously. Top with remaining potatoes and may srinkle a litle swiss cheese on top. Bake 3o to 35 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
