Cheesy Pizza Macaroni

Pag36 originally posted this recipe in What's for Dinner July 2009

CHEESY PIZZA MACARONI

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 pkg. (7 1/4oz. each) macaroni and cheese
2 cans (15 oz each) pizza sauce
2 cups (8oz) shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups (8oz) shredded mozzarella cheese

In large skillet, cook beef until browned; drain.
Prepare macaroni and cheese according to pkg directions. Spread one can of pizza sauce into sprayed 9x13 backing dish. Layer with half of the browned beef; then macaroni and cheese; then cheedar and mozzarella cheeses. Repeat layers. Dish will be full.
Bake, uncovered, 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly.

Congrats Patti! Sounds good so I'm gonna have to try it soon. Gotta get pizza sauce before I make it.

Sounds very yummy.

I will need to think.... what could I use to replace the pizza sauce?? Jasmine can not have tomatoes.

It was very good. The only thing that I changed was that I used my homemade mac and cheese since I do not buy the box. The next time I will add more sauce and cheese just because I had too much mac and not enough of the other. It was loved by my whole family.
