Easy Beef Stroganoff

Easy Beef Strognaff

1lb ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1-2 cloves garlic, finely minced
4 beef bouillon cubes
10 cups water
12 oz. package egg noodles (uncooked)
optional
Parmesan cheese
sliced mushrooms
Italian/French bread


Directions
Brown ground beef with onions, mushrooms and garlic. Drain excess fat. Add bouillon cubes and water, bring to boil.

Add egg noodles and cook for 9-11 minutes. Do not drain. Remove from heat and let set for approximately 5 minutes.

Serve in soup bowls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired. Add crusty bread and a side salad.

This makes a quick and easy "desperation dinner."

Serves 6; approximately 20 minutes of prep time.

It's a great recipe! I didn't use the bouillion cubes, as I didn't have any, but I substituted beef broth for about 2 cups of the water, so I think I got some of the flavor, but less salt. Next time I will add a bit of sour cream to each serving to give it a bit of a creamier texture.
