Strawberry Bread

3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. bakiing soda
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed

Grease & flour a 9 by 5 inch pan well. Preheat oven to 350.

In a lg. mixing bowl, sift together sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt & baking soda.

In a smaller bowl, beat the eggs & oil. Stir in pecans & strawberries. Add egg mixture to the sifted ingredients, & stir until just combined.

Bake for 1 hour. or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

*Good stuff

Do you add all the liquid from the berries that is formed as they thaw out?

Sounds really good!

didn't add liquid

No, I did not add any of the liquid from the strawberries. It made 2 loaves. My daughters boyfriend ate all a loaf he liked it so well. My husband liked it too.
