| Brown Sugar-Cinnamon Pecan Loaf This recipe was originally posted in September 2007 What’s for Dinner by Lizzie-boo Brown Sugar Pecan Loaf (although I'd call it Cinnamon Pecan Loaf)
3/4 cup water
6 Tbsp. milk
4 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. oat bran
3 cups bread flour
2 1/4 tsp. yeast
3/4 cup chopped pecans
Place ingredients in bread pan in order recommended for your machine. Basic cycle.
Makes 1 1/2 lb. loaf of scrumptious deliciousness.
Hand baking instructions: Bake the loaves at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes. The loaf is done when it's browned and an instant-read thermometer inserted in the center registers 170 degrees. Transfer to a rack and let cool before slicing.
