I am sending apologies ahead of time. Some of the b-day cards I am mailing will be a bit late. I have a hard time getting to the post office during the week and often have to wait till Saturdays (due to my job) but I promise the cards will arrive!

I have received 2 cards, one from Kathy and one from Rosey, last week! Sent in plenty of time, hehe! Thank you so much!
I haven't checked the mail yesterday or today so there may well be more. We have to go to hubby's work to check the mail.

Shelley, you don't need to write anything else other than what is one the list as it is BFPO and is just standard UK postage. Anything else just confuses the poor dears at the Post Office. haha!
I will let you know when they arrive, knowing the postal system here they will trickle in over the next few weeks!

Gee, after all that, MY card to Honeybee came back yesterday! I have sent Honeybee several postcards in the past using the same exact address and I know all of those got there! Sally, I'm going to re-mail this card....sorry for the delay!

I have just been reading back through the messages for november, my what a palava we've been having????
The postal service really should know!
Try stating that it is British Forces Post Office and that it is to go to the UK. If any country is put on it should be UK but I always get told not to put a country on it! Put on sufficient postage for a letter to the UK and voila!
It's daft isn't it that they don't know at the PO what a BFPO is, esp when you have APO! Never had a single problem the other way around!

Never mind, lol, I am sure that they will get here eventually, for which I am truly thankful to all of you and it will drag my birthday out that little bit longer which isn't a bad thing!! haha!
Looking forward to receiving them!!!

Sally, the first time I mailed your b-day card it got returned. I then re-wrote the address and went to the post office and told the postal clerk where the card was going etc. and he said it should be fine. So, look for another b-day card in the mail. (it was mailed last Friday so not sure how long it will take to get to you) Hopefully I got it right this time!

Happy birthday Sally! . I sent your birthday card out a week or so ago. I don't know how long it takes to get from here to there, but it is on its way! Las Cruces mail does take forever and I don't know why the difference.
