Neither one of us is vain. We only spend the time we need to look presentable. I've never been a makeup person and my hair has always been 'wash and go'. Hubby shaves his head because his hair is nearly gone on top. Everybody tells him he looks like Bruce Willis.

I do find DH brushing his hair in the mirror so that it looks just right over his bald spot. Makes me laugh when he brushes his teeth and looks in the mirror while brushing.
He has learned to color coordinate his clothes making sure everything matches. To me a man with clean nails that are trimmed & clean shaven makes the best impression.

I would say I spend more time in the mirror than him. After taking a shower and getting dressed will put on moisturizer and lipstick in the mirror.
I always like to trim my hair to keep it shaped if needed. Color my own hair too. Using two mirrors front and side helps with the trimming. Always wear a pair of small clip on earings before going out the door.

Guess being blind in one eye want to make sure the rest of me looks more attractive wearing dark glasses. I don't think I am vain just like to look the best I can when I step out the door.

As I sit here, unshowered and in a baseball cap, I have to say, I guess in some ways he preens more than I do.

Actually, he installed a tv above his vanity, so his eye balls are on the tube rather than himself. (what a MAN thing).

I think perhaps I need to get in a better routine, instead of sitting here hideous all day - Mom cant see me, but she can smell! hee hee - Dad, he has been making some comments about the time of day I get cleaned up. I just want to say: "DUDE! When am I supposed to fit this in"????
