If it's the same one that was on a few weeks ago, Paula Deen's team won.

I also missed that Iron Chef! I was really looking forward to seeing it. Maybe it will be on again.

Like watching Rachel Ray. Her show comes on at six o'clock right after dinner. The hour I watch her gives me ideas for new dishes.
Tonight they had biographies of Sandra & Rachel. Was interesting seeing how they both got started. Gave me a new insight about Sandra. Her books have raised money for many worthy charities. Her both Grandmothers taught her all they knew at an early age.
I could watch the foodnetwork all night.

I love the Iron Chef Shows. I also like to watch Paula deen. She is so bubbly. I have used several of Barefoot Contessa's recipes.

The Chefography's are awesome.

I recently got to watch Paula Deen again (yes it had been a while since I had switched on the telly) but I was so sad to see that she's losing that Southern homely charm that made her so appealing. She was all dressed up like she was going to some huge party with lots of jewelry and it...it just turned me off. And she didn't even seem that friendly anymore. Her individuality seemed lost...

I miss the old Paula Deen

SoLady, I see lots of the old Paula Deen. But, she also has a new show that I think is called, Paula's Party. I bet that is what you saw. She likes to throw parties and this is her social show. Try to catch her regular show and see if she is still the same.

Lauri, I LOVE those Chefogrophies too!

Btw, did you know that Jamie Oliver is coming back? I have only been able to watch him on the BBC America channel. But, he will be on Iron Chef America on Sunday and on Janurary 12th, his show begins. But, there seems to be something showing for the 6th. Here's the link for those who are interested: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_jh/

No, it wasn't Paula's Party. In Paula's Party, I can understand all the heavy makeup and bling bling but this was a new episode of her regular show. It was the Say Cheese episode and she cooked dishes which had cheese as the main ingredient.
During the whole time I was watching that, I felt like the homely feeling that Paula's show had was gone. But her personality seemed a bit altered too. She didn't seem her usual self

Yeah! Jamie Oliver is back! My mom was so excited. She loves him though I think that has more to do with his looks than his culinary skills

I have to agree, she seems to be getting too big for her britches.

One thing that I could never understand about her specials---does anyone really care about the Deen Family Vacations?
