I love Guy's Diners and Dives. I watch WAY to much Food Network. Barefoot Contessa is so awesome. I have used so many of her recipes in the bakery at work. I also like Giada. Rachel is ok. She gets on my nerves. Alton Brown is awesome because he explains everything!

I kinda agree with you about Rachel. I love her enthusiasm and she does make interesting dishes, but why does she have to yell all the time? I also must say that you can never watch too much Food TV, it just isn't possible!

I agree, I just can't get enough food tv! It is soo fun to watch and then get inspired to make really yummy food. I think the personalities on a lot of the channels are really positive too - I hate watching negative things on TV. I also started watching videos on www.better.tv, which has online cooking videos and recipes - a great way to learn how to cook something and then replay it when I'm at home in the kitchen...

Wow, I have never heard of Better TV before. It looks quite interesting and when I am done here, I am going to take a closer look.

I am looking forward to all the Christmas specials that Food TV will be showing. Most of them are really good and they help to put me in the mood.

DH read in the newspaper that Emeril Live is not being renewed. It will be interesting to see if they find another show for Emeril or what happens with him.

I love to watch Paula Deen. Many of her recipes seem to be just plain old country cooking and thats what I like. I don't like her party shows near as much but the ones of her in her kitchen I really love.

I really enjoy Dinner: Impossible. This British chef, Robert Irvine, gets these challenges each week, and he always manages to pull off some really great stuff.

Like... once, he had to make a dinner for about 400 people on a dinner train, and he had to use the train's kitchens/utensils/ etc, there were about 4 or 5 entree choices including a vegetarian one, and he had like 4 or 5 hours to do everything.

It's really fun to watch him and he always comes up with some neat stuff.
