Favorite Tea

When you want a cup of tea, what kind of tea do you choose?

Black tea, green tea, herbal tea, flavored? What's your favorite?

I love Bigelow decaf cinnamon stick. It's not carried at any stores around here anymore so I order it by the case online direct from their site.

I bought some berry tea (herbal) at Southern Seasons last week. I tried it hot, I think I would prefer it iced with a splash of lemonade in it.

My all time favorite hot tea is Bigelow's Decaf Constant Comment. I just love the smell of the orange and spices.

Cool link, thanks Barbi!

Does anyone make tea with loose tea? My dad has given me some "Shamrock tea" (Irish) and it's very good. A very strong tea. It's what Granma used to serve when we visited.

I get my fav tea at Costco. It's Chamba Chai - Spiced Chai latte. It's powder that you just mix into boiling water. It says it's a blend of honey, vanilla, black tea & exotic spices. It's very yummy!

I went and checked in my pantry, looks like I need to stop drinking so much coffee & start using up some of my tea. Here's what I found...
I have 2 boxes of just regular lipton - one for hot tea & one for ice tea

a box of Stash Premium black tea sampler w/ 9 flavors

Celestial Seasonings Teahouse Chai Chocolate Caramel Enchantment

Celestial Seasonings Honey Vanilla Chamomile

Celestial Seasonings Chamomile

Stash Premium Chai Green Tea

Celestial Seasonings Decaf Mint Green Tea

I love Chai tea (obviously!) and mint tea. When I'm sick I make a cup of mint tea & inhale the steam as I'm drinking it. It helps w/ congestion & sore throats.

I used to drink the Bigelow's Constant Comment but I haven't bought any for a while. Thanks for reminding me about it! It does smell wonderful.

I bought a loose tea ball once but I never bought any tea to go along with it. I think I'm too lazy to work that much for a cup of tea when I can just fill a cup w/ water, pop in a tea bag, and put it in the microwave. My neighbor in my 1st apartment used to make us tea w/ loose tea and it was always very nice and relaxing to go have tea with him.

I love a good cup of tea on a cold day. I like any kind of tea, but I have some I would choose first.
Bigelow---
Constant Comment
Chinese Fortune --an Oolong tea
Celestial Seasonings---
Sleepytime
Peppermint
Red Zinger
Raspberry Zinger
I also love ice tea and have tried some of the new cold brews--not too bad.

I am not too crazy about green tea.

Black Tea:
Irish Breakfast (Twinings or Bigelow's)
English Breakfast (Twinings or Bigelow's)
Tetley British Blend

Herbal Tea:
Celestial Seasonings Mandarin Orange Zinger
C.S. Lemon Zinger

Mindy, that chocolate caramel chai....sounds like a DESSERT! Wow!
