Inexpensive way to save on Paper Products for sandwiches

Since paper plates, paper towels and napkins have gotten so expensive: I have started using coffee filters (round) to hold my sandwiches. They keep crumbs in place and actually less expensive that paper plates and some napkins. You can use a long funnel type for ice cream cones or popsicles for your kids.

I tried this one day when I pull out 2 filters for coffee, I just put the extra on the counter. I made my husband a egg sandwich and turned for a napkin and saw the filter and just used it. holds up better than napkins and lighter than paper plates.

I Just wanted to share.

Good idea.
I have used coffee filters for "bowls" to hold popcorn when we have had a Popcorn & Movie day at our Library.

Coffee filters are great when you give kids pickle chips, they are very absorbent.......My grandkids like them for a snack and they won't rip like a napkin does.....Also use them for dry snacks....
