Bilby, good for you with your garage sale! I got rid of 27 magazines today! My dh is so happy! Only a few more to go!

New count - 81 + 1 mouse

No mice! How nice for you! I haven't had anymore since that last one! I still can't figure out where the heck they are coming in from! Maybe I need to get rid of more stuff and I will be able to see the walls!

This isn't a physical declutter, but look how this is affecting other areas--I have decluttered 569 old emails today!

Cooked, lest I sound smug about no mice, when we lived in the midwest, we just could not get rid of them. I don't remember how many we caught in our old (1884) Victorian home until we got the last one.

Pcking my winter clothes away and bringing out summer, 9 old and very daggy t-shirts ( don't know why I couldn't part with them before now) went.
2 pair of long pants I will give to my mum.

Joy that reminds me about a month ago we went through the video cassettes, we don't have a VCR anymore so why did we still have the cassetes? 9 of those went.
Kids sold some PS1 games they outgrew.

dh is going through the christmas lights this year to chuck out all those stings that many globes do not work, I can't seem to rush him, be he is going to do it.
I'm going to go through and get rid of all the old falling apart tinsel.

We are going good girls, keep it up, we won't know our homes soon with all this space.

Joy you are also the first I think to let something big go

SanDansmom, you were not smug at all! I am just jealous! I bet your house was gorgeous though!
Tomorrow is garbage day, so out went:
a broken lamp
an excersize bench
a whole wack of recycling
an old hat
an old window

I have lost count!

I decluttered my refrigerator today, but did not keep count of all the items. But my fridge, freezer and pantry are inventoried, so maybe I won't be decluttering much food any more!

I added a few strands of tinsel and some broken decorations to the bin.

Who had the biggest stash that went to another home or the rubbish bin?

Good to see we are still going, does anyones house look roomier?
