I read about the soap in Dr. Gott's column in the newspaper.
I have a friend who swears by if for her leg cramps. She just uses a motel size bar of soap. It does not help my RLS.

Sounds obsurd but it has worked for me.

Blessings,

As weird as this sounds, my Mom swears by this to stop the leg cramps that she was experiencing. I've never tried it so I can say if it works for me or not.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back on here I was waiting for my friend who is a botanist to get back with me but so far, she hasn't. I did bring the question to two of my soap groups and yes, a huge amount of the ladies have heard of this and tried it with success.

Another tip one of the ladies shared for anyone who suffers from nausea... rub lemon juice mixed with olive oil on your tummy, takes about a hour for relief but it's a better alternative than taking meds. all natural healing.

Hi ladies,

Below is an interesting article about a DR. who makes soap patches. I think a soap patch would be easy enough to make at home. I hope the link works if not let me know.

Interesting that the dr. is making his patchs with the oils of the scents that were in the soap that worked for him. He thinks it's the scents that work, not the soap itself. The reason for his thought is because some soap worked better than others.

So if the soap doesn't work for you, try a different scent or brand.

Sharon,

I thought te patches were interesting also, but in my opinion I think it would have to be more than the aroma that reduces the pain since the bars are under the sheet and really can't be smelled. Also the oils he uses must have other properties in them besides aromas. Just my simple thoughts. Someday they will figure it out. In the mean time give me my bar of soap. LOL

Blessings,
Dawn

Dawn, I'm with you on that thought. There has to be something in the oils.
