Right now we are keeping our bedroom door shut. The dog and cat are having a peeing contest in our bedroom. So no animals allowed in the room.

As for the closet door, they are always open. The doors work fine so I guess we are just lazy!

We always sleep with the door shut, The children's doors are shut too.

I was always told to keep my bedroom door closed when at home in case a fire broke out and we are the same here with the children

Yes we all have our doors shut when sleeping and sometimes just because we are in BR. But once I come home from hosp next week will have it open during the day as if I need help either Adam or Judy will hopefully hear me if not will have my cell phone handy and call one of them on house phone to come help me.

That is funny . a peeing contest. That is when I knew for sure the litter was not clean or mine had no food or water. All that is hubby's job. Pets are so smart.

Usually we keep our doors closed, but if I am really sleepy I will sometimes fall asleep and then it stays open...

I have my kids keep their doors shut for safety reasons & then I can hear them too if they are getting up. I'm a very light sleeper. However, I like to sleep with my door open just as a precaution so I can hear everything that's going on in my house. I will wake-up if someone just walks in my room, even with the door open. I feel more secure knowing with my door open I can hear more.
