| ****tail Meatballs
I made these for an appetizer party once. They were such a hit, I had no left overs and requests for the recipe.
2 lbs. ground meat
1 large onion, peeled and finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
bread crumbs
1 32 oz. jar grape jelly
1 bottle ****tail sauce
Place the ground meat into a large bowl, add the onion, the egg and a handful of the bread crumbs. Mix well. If the mixture seems too wet, add more bread crumbs.
Make mini meatballs. and bake them at 350* until done, about 20 minutes.
While they are baking, stir together in a large sauce oan the jelly and ****tail sauce over very low heat. Stir frequently. Place meatballs into a warming/chafing dish and pour sauce over.
Have toothpicks and plenty of napkins handy.
*Depending on how big or small you make them will determine how many meatballs you will have.
You can also use mini wienies in this sauce, but buy alot, they go fast.
