| DeBora's Tangy Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus

DeBora43 DeBora's Tangy Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus 1 bungle or about 12 large asparagus spears 12 slices of thinly sliced prosciutto 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup Italian dressing Take each spear and bend each spear until it breaks naturally. Use a peeler to peel off the outer skin of the bottom of each spear. In a 1 gallon-sized zip-loc type bag, pour the balsamic vinegar and the dressing. Add the spears. Close the baggie and marinate in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours, or as long as you can if your time is more limited. Wrap each asparagus spear with 1 slice of prosciutto, exposing the tip. On a lightly greased cookie sheet, arrange the asparagus spears. Use a spoon to drizzle a little of the marinade over the spears. In a 400 degree oven, roast the spears until they are tender or about 15 minutes. |
