Family Corner Bumperstickers

While some of us have been excitedly chatting about the idea of a "reunion" in the future, we have also talked about organizing some mini get togethers on our own as well... and along with that, came the topic of how to recognize each other on our travels.

I've asked Amanda about the possibility of creating a FC pin that we could purchace ~ or an idea that I like even better is a FC bumper sticker tht we could display our cars. That way we could spot each other on our journeys, and know we have met a "Family Member" on the road

So.. what do you ladies prefer?

Bring it on! I am so hyped by this idea.

Just one question--HOW are we going to do this wiithout Bilby? She is a riot. I told her we need to start a thread devoted to getting her here too. ;-)

I like the pin idea, because you can't wear the shirt ALL the time!!! (I'd love to have one though!)
But you could put the pin on your shirt, jacket or bag and always have it with you.

I hope we do find a way to get Bilby here

We should figure out a way to do some kind of a fundraiser so Bilby can come.

Does anyone know of a way to do one?

I know!... I like all of them.. too... but if I had to pick one it'd be the bumper sticker...

I see myself noticing a bumper sticker in the lot at Disney World, or Great Adventure or a roadside place and leaving a note on the windshield... or pulling up next to someone on I-95 and holding up a sign... "Hi I'm Lifestar" LOLOL~~~

I'm not sure I'd notice a pin moving through a crowd... (That would mean looking pretty hard at people, and we New Yorkers don't tend to do that without declaring war first )

But the t-shirt thing is a fun idea too.. but like Barb said, you can't wear one ALL the time!

Hmmmm .... decisions, decisions, decisions....

OH! my DH was joking, but he suggested getting "colors" like a motorcycle gang has... you know a vest with the big patch on the back...

Now wouldn't that be funny. You wear it WHEREVER you go.. LOL I could just see us the FamilyCorner Gang.. Watch out!! They'll tie up the computer for hours!!!

I know! When I visited NYC with co-workers, one of them had grown up there. Apparently she felt some guy was staring at us in the subway line to buy tokens so she looks at him and say's "Excuse me!!" in a tone that made ME want to run!

Here's a thought.........
Anybody that wanted to could round up the cost of their items and it could go to the "Get Bilby/Kathy here for the Get-together fund" I don't mind adding the extra $'s to help.

Oh I like that, the FamilyCorner Gang! Who'd a thunk!! lol

Maybe a scarf tied to our purses, we could pick a certain color and all go out and buy say a blue bandana and tie it to a purse or diaper bag. It's not like you'd see anyone else doing that. Just a thought.
