Friends, I hate having to say this, but I am going to have to step down as a moderator here at Family Corner. It feels like I’ve been here forever. In fact, I’ve been a member since late 2002 (more than 7 years!) and a moderator since 2004. Family Corner has been a wonderful part of my life. I’ve met so many terrific people here.
But the time has come: my family and work responsibilities have increased recently as my husband has begun a new business. There’s only so much time in the day, and I don’t feel like I’ve been able to give the FC community the kind of attention that it needs and deserves.
I’ll still be here, because I just cannot give up Family Corner. But as my time is more limited, I felt it was only right to bow out as a moderator here.
Thanks for understanding, and for all that each of you has done to make FC the friendliest forum on the Internet!
Barbszy, sometimes priorities change or have to be rearranged. I am glad that you will still be around on FC though because I always love your posts! (I still say you are a very gifted writer and should write a book someday)

I can certainly understand what you are talking about with all of the changes in my life this past year. A Big thanks for all you have done ( a lot of it I am sure we didn't even realize) for FC.
