Testing from my daughter's PC to see if I can get the error on page message.

Looks like I am able to post pictures here, will try a different thread

I've been getting the same error message that Anna has. But today I posted a thank you on SS club and was able to attach a thank you image. I did it before I checked here. Now I'm getting the same error message on this thread with you and can't download a pic, but I could earlier. So I decided to to go the SS chit chat board. It wouldn't let me download an image. It gave me an error message like Anna's. Then I went to the thank you board and it let me download a pic. So then I went back to the chit chat board and it let me download an image. Go figure?????????????

Now I'm not sure what is or isn't going on. Any suggestions?

Here's the same question I have posed to Anna, if you can get me this same information it will be very helpful in figuring this out:

I understand what you are saying about "error on page" and that nothing happens. What I do need you to do is look where it says "error on page", then double click those words OR if there's a caution sign with an exclamation point in it, please double click that. It should bring up a box that allows you to click a button for a detailed explanation of the script error (button should say "details"). Within that box will be a description of the error. That is what would be most helpful.

I can't get the computer to do what it's not supposed to do. (UGH!) This pic went on just fine on both SS boards. The only thing I can think of to do at this time is do nothing. (I sure do sound redundent don't I?) I guess I'll just continue like I was doing until if and when (which I hope is never) it happens again. Then I'll do as you suggested and come back here with the answer you need that I'm unable to give you. You're wonderful to be here for us and help us. I only wish that I was able to help you help me. Anyhow, as I see you're offline now, I hope you have a wonderful week. HUGS!

It's ok, it's better that it IS working properly and you can't get the message. Next time you get it, try to get the detailed info for me and post it here. Thanks!

Tried posting a photo on the Friendship thread and on here but nothing would happen clicking on attachments. Sure miss putting on photos & seeing them.

I know this is an awful suggestion, but it is a work around until this is fixed. If you are in the reply window (BEFORE typing your message) try clicking Manage Attachments. If the box doesn't open, refresh the page. It may take several tries, but eventually the box should work.

I did a little experimenting. I came to this thread and clicked the "post reply" button, Manage Attachments would not work.

From the "post reply" page, I clicked my browser's refresh button 6 or 7 times before I could successfully open the Manage Attachments pop up box. I tried it a second time by using my back button and clicking post reply again, and after 3 refreshes I was able to get the button to work.

After that, I went to a different thread http://www.familycorner.com/forums/g...tml#post912631 and clicked post reply. Was able to use Manage Attachments on the first try.

Tried another thread What Did You Do Frugal Today? July 2009 and Manage Attachments worked on the first try again.

Went to the Friendship Flower thread http://www.familycorner.com/forums/j...tml#post912715 where you reported not being able to post a pic and was able to get it to work there as well.

So I know it's not a fun way to have to do this, but it might work like it did for me

Just remember to NOT type your reply until you are able to get Manage Attachments to work. The only reason I say that is because I would hate for you to type all of your reply and then the attachment button not work for you (like for me right now!)

Amanda....Did attachment first before the typing reply worked. Did it on Friendship thread worked too. Thanks!

Amanda, when I hit manage attachments, nothing happens. I'm using Internet Explorer.
