problems

Last night I could not log on. When I typed my name and password in, my password disappeared.

Some of the words have been in white, and I can't read them.

I am not staying logged in.

I am not recieving notices about my threads either.

I keep having problems with logging on, it is very hit and miss at the moment and I too aren't recieving the notices about threads too.

Not sure if the secret sister and birthday emails have been sent, if so not receieved those either

I use vista
browser - google chrome
email - yahoo

Pages seem to take forever to come up...the longest wait for me was 10 minutes for one page to load...

Keep having to log into the site...

I use Internet Explorer...

I've noticed a delay in the FC pages loading the last few days.

I've not been receiving notices of new forum posts when I should be receiving individual notices for the past 2 days. I'm on earthlink and have checked my webmail and there is nothing from FC in the spam account.

I can post for 5 to 30 minutes max (I was on the game thread last night) and then the words go white and I can't read anything.
On Barbszys suggestion, I cleared my cookies and caches and thought that took care of the problem. 15 minutes into being on the game thread tho the words turned white again. It is a clear white and cannot see the topics of the thread.
Please email me because I won't necessarilly be able to read it here.

I'm terribly sorry about the problems everyone. I have isolated the problem, however, it must be corrected by tech support, it's not something I have access to. I've just emailed them again and asked them to bump up the priority.

A temporary fix may be to empty out your cache and clear your cookies, log out of FC, then close out your browser completely. Once you return it should see you as starting a new session and should allow you to view the boards properly.

I know what the problem is, but again I can't tackle it as I don't have access to that. Hopefully they will fix it soon!

I'm having problems staying logged in. Everytime I come on here I have to sign back in.
I also stopped receiving messages that there has been a new post to the forum.

I am still not getting notices from FC either, for me it's been 3 weeks and counting. I have talked to Tech Support and he said he knew what the problem was and it was being fixed but that was over a week ago, still no notices.

On staying logged in... I have found that if you idle on FC for very long, say your logged in and go wash dishes, etc. and come back, it still shows you logged in but when you post it says you aren't logged in and you loose what you posted and have to log back in. That has been going on for a very long time hmm.. I'd say about a year??
