There are 8 levels of Crown Jewel Awards that can be won. These awards were created to replace a set of 5 Queen's Crown Awards.
Here's how it works:
When a member has earned 5 of the same award, those 5 awards are removed and replaced with a Queen's Crown. Now we have several members that have earned 5 or more Queen's Crowns, so the Crown Jewel Awards were born.
When a member reaches 5 Queen's Crown Awards, those 5 crowns will be replaced with the first jewel, which is the "Crown Jewel Amethyst".
Once a member earns a jewel it stays on their profile and is not replaced. So if they earn the Amethyst (this is the first one awarded when they reach 5 Queen's Crowns) it replaces the 5 crowns. When they've earned 5 more queen's crowns, they get the next jewel, in this case the second one is Aquamarine. They will now display both the Amethyst and the Aquamarine.
The order of the jewels that can be earned are
Amethyst
Aquamarine
Emerald
Ruby
Sapphire
Rose Zircon
Topaz
Diamond
