Thrifty Thursdays!

Hi guys! I've started something new on my blog called Thrifty Thursdays. I'm getting a good response and hope to have quite a few bloggers play along. The basic jist is that I will post something thrifty or frugal (has to do with cooking, gardening, home, etc) on thursday and there will be a link list at the bottom of other bloggers who are participating in Thrifty Thursday. To participate, they post something thrifty and link back to my post, then they post their link. That means a whole bunch of thrifty tips for everyone to enjoy!

if you would like to be kept up to date on Thrifty Thursdays, go to my blog and you can subscribe on the right side bar. Be sure to watch for the confirmation link that will be sent to your email address!

Hope you like the idea, I think it's going to be fun. And of course if you have a blog please feel free to participate!

Hey guys, if you don't have a blog and still want to participate, we can set up a thread in the Frugal Living forum each week and link to that from the blog. That way anyone without a blog can simple post in that thread. Sound good?

Would this be a new thread each week? I guess so, since otherwise anyone visiting the link would have to start at the beginning each time.

I'm excited about it, I think it's going to go over well! I have already started composing my post for Thursday and will save it until then

Good question. I think it's best to post them only in one place. People will be making the rounds and visiting the different links, we don't want to give them duplicate content to read

Roberta, you don't need a blog. We will open up a Thrifty Thursday topic thread and you can post your ideas here. It will also include the link to Amanda's blog so you can go there and follow links to everyone else's Thrifty Thursday posts
