For going on 7 years now, this has been my favorite hangout on the web!
I am so blessed by the dear ladies I have met on Family Corner and, Amanda, it's all thanks to you for running such a wonderful place!

I agree with everything everyone else has said. This is the friendliest group I have been involved with. Everyone thinks about everybody else and has comforting words when needed and praises too. And everyone appreciates the efforts of others.
Thank you Amanda for creating this site and making it such a wonderful place to be.

Oh my gosh, Ditto what everyone has said already!! I have had a few groups of my own and the "drama" that started, caused me to close, it was unbelievable, I thought Iwas back in high school, lol! Amanda this is such an awesome site, and I have never run into a member here that wasnt willing to help out or say some kind words, its more like a family!! I have to say this is definately my Online Family, and I love you all!! HUGS

The reason this site is going so well is because we all really care about each other. Some of us have met face to face or talked on the phone but majority have not and may never but we CARE that is the key to my way of thinking

Ananda, Thanks for saying such a nice thing! I love FC because of all the wonderful people on here and also because of all the hard work you have put in to make it such a great place to hang out! The friends I have made on here are amazing and I don't know what I would do without them!

I remember when I first got my computer and experienced the Internet for the first time. I thought I could find a Christian chat room and be happy socializing. I was shocked at how cruel these "Christians" could be to others who were questioning the Christian faith. Then, I discovered forums, which didn't chat in real time the way chat rooms did. (This was all before college.) I wasn't sure I would like FC, but I joined with no expectations. I remember when I was fairly new here and I became ill. I got so many get-well cards from members from FC!!! I was not a member of any clubs here. The members sent these cards because they wanted to!!! I knew this was a community of caring, loving individuals. They genuinely cared. I don't always send get-well cards. I am really cramped for time now that I am in school. But, I like the fact that each member has his/her own talents to offer to others.

It is the GREATEST community online. I hear people who don't use the Internet, in the psychology community, tell me that people cannot make lasting friendships through the Internet. I know they haven't "met" anyone from FC! lol I am grateful for the friends I have here. We can share our joys with each other as well as our problems. It is a great community!
