As you know, FamilyCorner offers several different fun awards to display in your award's showcase and up by your username on your posts. Some of the awards represent things that can happen more than once. For example, the Chef Guy Award is presented to someone whose recipe is featured in our Time To Eat newsletter, the Blue Ribbon Award is given to someone whose recipe I have tried in my own home, and the Honorary Member Award is given whenever a cash donation is made to FC. There are several others that have the same circumstances. There are some awards that are only given once, such as the Secret Sister Club identifying you as a member, same with the Postcard Club and Prayer Chain.
So here's the question: if someone earns the award more than once, should we give them the award more than once? For example, if someone already has a Chef Guy icon, but another one of their recipes is featured in our newsletter, should they have a second Chef Guy, and a third and fourth if that be the case?
I don't have a problem with a member displaying more than one of the same award- if he/she earned the award, they should have the right to show it.
Maybe, as an alternative, member awards could be edited somehow, if people are worried about the space the awards take up on the screen. For example, if I were to earn another Chef Guy, maybe I could keep the one I have and have a "2" added to him somewhere... just a thought.
It really doesn't matter to me if someone earns another award of the same type, but like Catwoman said, maybe you could add a number beside it instead of showing the same award.

I'm not really picky when it comes to displaying the awards. I do agree with those who have said that perhaps the best way would be to diplay a number with the award that way it wouldnt get to be so cluttered.
I just think it would be too much room to put like 5 chefs or 10 flowers..ya know!!
Important update - FYI
The awards that you see up by the person's name on all posts will never show more than 7 awards. The awards showcase will house all of the extras. There would never be 10 flowers and 5 chef guys listed at the top on people's posts. Just wanted to clear that up as I have noticed three or four posts on this thread that would indicate that people think that's what would happen.
