I have noticed that throughout the day and evening people are popping in to the chatroom saying "hello? anyone there?" only to find out that they are the only one in chat.
To see if anyone is in the chatroom with you, simply look to the right hand side of the chat screen, you will see three links:
Main
Chit Chat
Scheduled
Beneath the Main chat link you will most likely see yourself, but you will also see any other chatters that happen to be in the room with you, or in another room.
