New Chat Room!

Just wanted to invite all of you to check out the new chat room! If you haven't visited it yet come on over sometime we have a lot of fun. If you've already been there come back! Just a lot of good idle chit chat goin on! So come make some new friends and visit with old ones! I am usually on there every evening!

I pop in every night too! We had a nice comfy chat tonight, it was nice to see everyone there.

I tried to stop in the other day and it told me I had to be registered on the Forums ... which I am ... so I backed out and tried again and it still wouldn't let me in! The message also talked about the version of browser I'm using - IE 6 - is that *too* new?

What am I doing wrong???

Now that things have finally settled down here, I hope to pop in and chat with you all.

Now I have to go catch up on all the forums to see what I have missed.

Was wondering if someone could brief me on the formalities of what takes place in your chat rooms. Are there certain times, topics, etc? I'd love to check you out there, but thought I should get the procedures first!! Also, have to check out the time zones....I'm in Ontario, near Detroit...I guess I'll have to go find the map.....!!!!

Ok we believe we may have isolated the problem here for some of you. Try doing this if you are unable to get into the chatroom from the boards:

1) Go to the top of the forums and click the button that says LOGOUT.

2) Go back to the forum home page, if it does not automatically log you back in, scroll to the bottom of the page and log back in.

3) Try entering the chatroom now by clicking the button that says CHAT.

Please let me know if this does not work for you!

Looks like another issue may be that you MUST have cookies accepted in your user control panel in order for the chat to recognize you.

1) click the button at the top that says USER CP

2) click "edit Options"

3) The following options must say "yes":

Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)

Browse board with cookies?

After those are selected, try logging out then leaving the site all together, then returning to the FamilyCorner.com home page. Then click to the message boards from there.

Adriansmom,

There are some scheduled chats and they are listed...mmm somewhere

....someone help me with that. Most of the time, however, it's just a very relaxed, informal chat. You click in, folks say "hi" and you go from there. You can surf while you're in there (Amanda is always working while we're in there lol)....no pressure. Please join us. It's nice to actually "talk" in real time to all those folks you already feel you know through posts. Hope to see you there.
