Blue Ribbon Recipe Awards!

Well guys, I have decided to start a new award for FamilyCorner Community Members. It's called the Blue Ribbon Recipe Award. There isn't a way to actively seek out an award yourself, except for by posting a recipe in these forums. Let me explain:

I, Amanda Formaro, owner of FamilyCorner, will occassionally go around the forums looking for a recipe to try in my own home. This could be ANY category, desserts, salads, appetizers, meat, etc. When I find a recipe, make it, ENJOY it, and use it in one of my newsletters or articles, the poster of that recipe will earn this Blue Ribbon Award!

The winner of the award will be notified via email and congratulated in this forum with a link to the winning recipe. The award will be displayed in either your signature file or under your user name, depending on whether or not you have already earned a Chef Guy and where he is displayed.

Good luck everyone, thank you for all the recipes, and thank you for all of your continued support of this wonderful community!

Amanda, Will this be just for regular recipes or will it also include the low-carb, low-fat, diabetic.....recipes too?

It will include any recipe that is posted on these forums. The way it works is I search these forums for things I want to cook myself. No matter where I find it, if I make it and it's good, they win!

The first winner of this award is "leasmom" for her Strawberry Banana Bread. This recipe was AWESOME. I did omit the nut because most people in this family prefer things without them, but other than that I followed the recipe.

Amanda I love this new contest... as so many are good in the other areas beside WFD thead...
