When do your kids go back to school?

Just curious as to when everyone elses' kids start school?

Mine start the 27th of August!

They have changed the time that they start and get home from school this year, so I am not sure what time they will be leaving in the morning!!!

This year I will have one at home, one in elementary, and two in senior high school, i feel so old.

Not sure if I am going to put youngest in pre-school, there is a Mother's morning out program that I think I might sign her up for!!

Last year, I had one at home, one in elementary, one in middle school, and one in high school. So it is a little easier this year.

Our schools here in St. Martin Parish start back on August 14th!

I'll have one in nursing school (1st semester), one in middle school (6th grade) and one at the primary (4th grade) .

It doesn't seem like I should have kids this old!!

My first semester of college just seems like it was a year or so ago!

Mine go back on August 21st... my son will be in 5th grade, my daughter will start kindergarten and my 3 year old will finally have me all to herself!

august 25th

My son is in the 6th grade, My daughter in the 1st. And my husband is in his first year of collage. So I will be home alone this year for the first time in 11 years.

Hello everyone,

Here in Chambersburg, PA the kids are going back September 3rd

I go back with them because I work in the cafeteria in one of our elementary schools.

I love kids!

My oldest is going into 8th
My middle is going into 6th
My "baby" is going into 4th

My nephew/ foster son is going into 9th or 10th which is still pending!

This year has gone pretty fast huh?

in Tennessee for a year round school. This year for second grade in Pueblo, Co. she'll be going back on Aug. 25th. Before, she literally only had a month off, but she had plenty of vacations.

Here in Kentucky the different counties start at different times but all will be in session by 8/25. DS will be in the 4th grade and started on August 18 and DD is in the 1st grade and she started on August 14. The difference in the dates is between public school and private school.

My daughter started today, Sept. 3! I'm so excited and so was she! She could hardly wait to go to the bus stop! I have a list as long as I am tall of things to do while she's at school! Top of my list: organize daughter's closet! Too many toys and things she doesn't play with and they must be gone through and put away. She wouldn't help me one day when I asked her nor does she want to part with anything. So, I'll go through the stuff myself and she'll never miss the stuff. YIPPEE!! School is great! Ok. Don't get me wrong, I love my daughter but it has been a very LONG summer. She was ready to go back to the routine and see her friends. Have fun, Moms!

Bumping back up!! It's that time of year again!!

My kids will start school on August 30th. But, youngest DD will be starting preschool this year and she won't start until September 13th.

It is only about 5 weeks away for school to start. I need to go put their school clothign on lay-a-way!!
