kathy, my dks are the same way, a bomb could go off and they wouldn't hear a thing.
My problem is, my ds2 is starting high school this year. He really needs a lot of sleep but I am giving him a 10 p.m. bedtime on the condition he can get himself up in the morning without me having to drag him out of bed. I am not sure he will actually go to sleep at 10 p.m. but am hoping he doesn't get over tired. He is playing sports this fall and has a heavy course load so I am hoping he can be mature enough to know he needs at least 8 hours of sleep but who knows.
