Your best bet is to consult a family counselor about this matter. The things you are unable to share with this thread may be important enough to consider and may well be life altering and may need to be considered on your part and just remember that it is harder to take care of someone elses children when they have extra issues to deal with. When I first got married, 30 years ago, my husband had custody of his two children and the things we went thru were hard but well worth it. Counseling will be the best in any case. Just be patient and have lots of love and when the times get hard just remember this too will pass.
