grad present ideas

Any good ideas for grad presents? She's not college bound but is saving for a car?

Anyone know about CD's - Certificate of Deposit.

I was thinking about getting her a 6 mo CD - this way I think it doubles - she can cash it in or I think extend it. Not sure. Guess I need to go to the bank.
