Good for you on Soduko does not make any sense to me. And can not even float. Can't stand water in my face either when raining you will see me walking with head down. Guess that is cause I nearly drowned when I was 12. So this ole gal does not get in water just to shower with a hand held one so I know water will not run down my face.
Got to get ready to go to DR so bye for now

I used to be able to float on my back but couldn't do it the last time I was around a pool 20 years ago, probably too bottom heavy now, lol.

Just ran across this thread..

For me it took me a long time to learn to swim, and I had to teach myself, I cannot put my head down into the water to swim that way, but I could swim. I cannot do it now due to my arms. As I broke one back in the early 80's and then when I was in the car wreck back in 96 I messed up the rotator cuff. I almost drowned back when I was 17.. someone pushed me off the diving board as was trying to learn to dive as I was scared to do it from the diving board, but could off the side of the pool.. Well after that I couldn't even do it from the sides..

Math.. give me a break!. simple math ok, no problems.. remember my first job I had trouble counting back money.. told mom, and she sat down with me and we played with money... as she was a cashier and stocker.. soon I got the hang of it and was a cashier down life pathway.. in my younger yrs. I don't like it when someone doesn't count my money back to me either. Don't just trust those computers... and most don't know how to do that these days.
Don't give me word problems or fractions, percentages,
algerbra, and so agree with Haleys grandmom, how can A+ B = 123 or even any kind of number, I mean you take
letters and turn them into numbers, How? or even Why would you. it like one is one kind of sex and the other is another kind, why change it to the other? Mind blowing for me.
My mind freezes up on taxs, stockmarket, but I think I know why.. My bio dad wanted me to learn it and I was not succesful or never would be If I didn't learn it.. don't even let me go there...

I have trouble with VCR, the one we had I did learn it finally but it
took alot in getting used to it. and it was my son that taught me.
give me a camera tell me where to click it and I'm ok, anything else forget it.

following a sewing pattern, now if I can take something
and turn into into something simple I can..like a quilt, blankets, pot holder, etc.. simple things that you just make
but darts, seams, that is where the problems starts

Crossword puzzels I don't get it, I can't come up with words that means ??? mind freezes up on me I guess I don't know
but do like puzzeles such as word find the ones you cirlce, puzzels, the ones you got to find the missing lettes or numbers to go into them
and the easy to med level of Soduku. It took me some time to learn. One day when I was subbing for a teacher she had a little book on how to do Soduku, so I looked over it while sitting in the class. From that book I learned and got hooked.

I tried to learn to crochet, but my stitches are not to even and I lose count. LOL

Train I guess I'm going to have to walk you thru the process like I did someone else.. so when you see this again and still want to learn, we will have a phone call conversation on this.. and that goes for anyone else...
It easy but you making it hard...

ok, I know there is more I cannot do.. but that's enought for one night dose

Barbar
I'm with you on the 'not good at maths' thing, it still amazes me that I produced 2 kids who excel at maths!
